Hymnal Background

Worship & Music Ministry

Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs

At Gracepointe, worship is reverent, joyful, and centered on Christ. Each service follows a semi-formal, gospel-shaped liturgical order that reflects the story of redemption, creation, fall, redemption and renewal.

We believe worship is not a performance to watch, but a dialogue between God and His people. That's why we pray together, confess together, sing together, and respond together to His Word.

Our Worship Philosophy

Our Worship & Music Ministry exists to lead the congregation in God-centered, confessionally faithful worship. We hold to a loosely regulative principle of worship, guided by Scripture and the historic practices of the Reformed faith. Instruments serve to support congregational singing, not to overshadow it. Our goal is robust, congregational praise that exalts Christ and roots believers in theological truth.

We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that lift our voices in unity and align our hearts with the Word. We are careful in song selection, avoiding music that centers man, dilutes doctrine, or promotes ministries outside the bounds of biblical orthodoxy. Our desire is to sing what is true, not just what is popular; to worship with both heart and mind engaged.

The Lord's Supper

On the first and third Sundays of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper with bread and wine, as Christ commanded, renewing our covenant together in His presence.

Mission Statement

To glorify God through biblically faithful, theologically rich, and congregationally robust worship that magnifies Christ and forms His people in truth and joy.
